So I went to talk to McLeod yesterday, and Sam, you were right and I am a total idiot, because I MADE FIRST STRING!

He also congratulated me on the final, and said that I did well, even if we did beat Scotland.

I'm excited!

I can't go into the Wizarding part of town up here until possibly as long as mid-September. Depends on which way the match goes, I suppose. The dangers of living in Scotland but playing for England.

And I got an owl from McLeod today. I'm a little bit worried - I haven't had a request for a meeting in ages. We've got a meeting scheduled for September 1st, provided the final match doesn't keep going until then. I guess it's news that he has to deliver in person, but that really doesn't make me feel better.

No, really. Because how often does a reserve Chaser make the National team reserves. Beating out people from the starting line-ups.

Even if I'm not, I am REALLY EXCITED.

... And in an interesting coincidence, my journal's (primary) colours are the England colours too!

Since everyone's on about what colour their new spiffy WWW journal is: mine is black, white, and red! Appropriate amounts of pride for all the appropriate teams!

That would be black and white for the Montrose Magpies, and red for Gryffindor, if you needed the explanation.

On the same note, I think this about the tenth journal I've gotten. I really do need to stop loosing the things.
